Dragonfly Notes: A Memoir of Motherhood and Loss

I've just completed a manuscript dealing with the grief I experienced after my mother's complicated death.  As I wrote the memoir, though, I realized it was about much more than just grief—it's about the complicated mother-daughter relationship we shared, as well as
about place, displacement, poverty, depression and the cost of the decisions she and I both made. In a way, I consider it a fused memoir—
her story and my story intertwined.
